RENTAL TERMS

Important information about our 4x4 rentals

Requirements & Inclusions

  • Minimum rental period: 3 days
  • Driver must be at least 23 years old
  • Valid driver's license for minimum 2 years
  • Credit card for security deposit
  • All vehicles come with comprehensive insurance (excess applies)
  • Free kilometers: 400km/day (Hilux), 400km/day (Corporate), 400km/day (Land Cruiser)
  • Additional kilometers charged at R5.50/km
  • All prices include VAT
  • Long-term rentals (14+ days) qualify for 10% discount
  • Cross-border permits for Namibia and Botswana available at R750 per country
  • 24/7 roadside assistance
  • Free vehicle orientation and briefing

Booking & Payment

  • 50% deposit required to secure booking
  • Balance due 14 days before pickup
  • Security deposit: R10,000 (Hilux), R15,000 (Corporate), R20,000 (Land Cruiser)
  • Security deposit is pre-authorized (not charged) and released after inspection
  • All major credit cards accepted
  • EFT/bank transfer available for South African residents
  • Free cancellation up to 30 days before pickup
  • 50% refund for cancellations 15-30 days before pickup
  • No refund for cancellations less than 15 days before pickup
  • Pickup and drop-off available at our Upington office
  • Airport transfers available by arrangement
  • One-way rentals possible (additional fees apply)
